The Foiling Press – August 2023

The Foiling Press – August 2023 – August was an interesting month for the Insetta Boatworks family! With hurricanes threatening both customer boats and our production facilities, we’re happy to report that no Insettas were harmed by Hurricane Idalia, and production wasn’t set back too badly by the storm. Aside from that, we’re happy to wrap up a very successful summer and looking forward to finishing the year strong! Current Builds

This Sky Blue 35IFC headed to her new home in Clearwater, FL, this past month. This boat is one of the most well-equipped builds we’ve done to date, she’s absolutely loaded with options and ready to have some serious fun out on the water! Shortly after delivery, we learned that Hurricane Idalia was headed toward the west coast of Florida – luckily, they were prepared and had the boat moved to a safe spot to ride out the storm! Scenarios like this make a great case for having a trailer for your 35IFC, even if you keep the boat on a lift.

The next Sky Blue 35IFC is moving along nicely! The liner has been bonded into the hull and the cap has been dry-fit and will be bonded in as well by the end of this week. Meanwhile, the boys in the rigging shop are getting the console and hardtop wired up and the 22” Garmin MFD’s and additional electronics installed. Motors should be going on next week!

Our third Sky Blue build is getting close to having all of her fiberglass parts finished up! During the month of August, small parts were finished up and we infused and finished the hull, the liner has also been infused and is ready to be released from the mold. The final piece of the puzzle is the cap which is being prepped this week and will be infused next week.

The next build in line has had her stringer/bulkhead grid completed and we’ve finished building her fish boxes and livewells.

Insetta Adventures

Watch our good friend and Insetta customer Robert Arrington (AKA DeerMeatforDinner) put his 35IFC to use fishing, diving, and more! As an avid fisherman, spearfisherman, and diver, Robert chose the 35IFC because it is truly a “Do It All” boat! From family adventures through the Islands of the Bahamas to fishing for monster Bluefin Tuna in the Northeast, Rob has certainly put the 35IFC to the test this summer!
