The Foiling Press – February 2023
What an eventful month it’s been! Production is moving along nicely, we had a HUGE delivery day in Jupiter, FL, and we had an amazing time showing off our latest edition of the 35IFC at the Miami International Boat Show! At the show, we met some amazing people, welcomed some new members to the Insetta Family, and even went shrimping (more details on that later)! Let’s dig into our normal monthly recap:
This beautiful Haze Gray 35IFC with twin 300 HP Mercury V8 Verados is finished and ready to be delivered to her new home on the Gulf Coast of Florida! We shrink-wrapped the boat to make sure she stays nice and clean, meanwhile, our team is working with the dry storage marina to ensure the 35IFC is sitting pretty (and safely)!
Next up, we’ve got an Ice Blue 35IFC powered by twin 300 HP Mercury V8 Verados! The hull, cap, liner, and all major parts are fully bonded in and her motors are rigged and installed. She should be ready for delivery in roughly two weeks and will be running back and forth from Boca to Bimini before you know it! The owners of this boat chose the Insetta specifically for traveling to and from their house in South Bimini, the 35’s impressive efficiency and range coupled with its load-carrying capabilities make it the perfect fit for their use case.
Next is our new Demo Boat, a Light Gray 35IFC that will be powered by twin 300 HP Mercury V8 Verados as well! This boat’s Demo days will be short-lived, as we will host 2 upcoming demo events on the boat, one in Northeast Florida and one down in SE or SW Florida (maybe both?!) before she’s available for immediate purchase.
Finally, the latest 35IFC to hit the mold is a beautiful shade of blue! She’ll be powered by twin 300 HP Suzuki outboards and loaded with Garmin Electronics. Team R-Kat will be fishing plenty of Gulf-coast tournaments in style in this beauty!
The first of our 2nd Generation 35IFC’s was delivered a few weeks ago to Robert Arrington (AKA DeerMeatForDinner) in his hometown of Jupiter, FL. On delivery day, we were lucky to spend time with Robert and his family, as well as with folks from Suzuki, Lumitec, Center Consoles Only, and Gemlux! It was an eventful day that Robert captured on film and the crew from CCO scored some epic shots of us running the boat into some nasty offshore conditions as well.
Miami International Boat Show Recap
Firstly, we have to give a big shoutout to the folks from Suzuki! They invited us to display the latest version of the 35IFC at their in-water display at the show, captured some insane content for marketing materials, and were there the entire show to assist us with dock lines, life vests, and more. Being a small business, we’re very grateful for the opportunity to develop these tight-knit relationships with big brands like Suzuki, Simrad, Gemlux, Lumitec, and many others.
To say the 35 was a hit would be a huge understatement! Many of our sea trials had 10-15 passengers, when we weren’t out on sea trials, we had tons of folks stopping by to check out the boat and take a closer look at the new interior layout, as well as the fit and finish that we pride ourselves on. Loading the boat with 10+ people, 250-300 gallons of fuel, 80 Gallons of water, and gear, we continued to impress with our class-leading efficiency, load-carrying capabilities, and rough-water ride quality.
We are pleased to announce that we have welcomed several new members to the Insetta family during and after the Miami International Boat Show, we can’t wait to build the boat of their dreams and see all the amazing places they go!!!
The icing on the cake during this show was that the bay was absolutely LOADED with Shrimp during the late-night hours after the show. Of course, we had to take full advantage and load up on some fresh shrimp and cook them up with new friends we met at the show! It’s awesome to meet other people in the boat-building world and enjoy some fresh seafood over good conversation!
We’re still working on locking in a schedule for our upcoming private demo events, but if you’d like to join us, we highly recommend submitting a form on our website so we can notify you about upcoming events when dates are decided! We plan on hosting private events in Northeast Florida, Southwest Florida, Southeast Florida, The Florida Keys, and a few more this year!
