The Foiling Press – November 2022

While it may seem like we’ve been quiet, the Insetta Boatworks team has been working hard in silence to finish 2022 strong and preparing to take 2023 by storm! We’ve finalized testing and successfully delivered our first Suzuki-powered 35IFC, we’ve got a shop full of 35IFC’s in the process of being built, and we’ve got some amazing news for current and future customers that we’ll be announcing at the start of 2023!

Read about what we’ve been up to this past month below:

Current Builds

Testing of the Ice Blue, Suzuki-powered 35IFC has wrapped up and we delivered her to her new home down in the keys this past week! During testing, we achieved a 1.7 mpg @ 42 mph cruise, 1.3 mpg @ 50 mph, and 1 mpg 59 mph WOT in calm conditions.

Next up, the Haze Gray 35IFC is nearing completion as her twin 300 HP Mercury V8 Verados have finally arrived! Her deck, cap, and liner are bonded and in place and the console is fully rigged with Simrad Electronics and JL Audio sound system.

We’ve got a lot of Ice Blue 35IFC’s out there, and it’s no surprise why folks love the color! The next Ice Blue 35IFC has her under-deck rigging complete, liner fitted and bonded in, and cap is rigged and going on this week! Console rigging began this week as well, so she is coming together nicely!

Finally, the latest 35IFC we’re building for famous Fisherman/YouTuber Robert Arrington (AKA DeerMeatForDinner) has come out of the mold and her gray and black color combination is looking sharp! Under-deck rigging is going in, meanwhile, the leaning post, console, and coffin box fitment is being tested inside the liner before the liner is bonded into the hull. Keep your eyes on this build as it’s going to be a very special one!

Demo Boat

It’s a bitter-sweet moment, but our Demo boat has officially SOLD and is off to her new home! This boat paved the way for our subsequent builds and will always hold a special place in our hearts. We’ll never forget debuting this boat and watching people’s faces light up as she effortlessly glided on her hydrofoil, achieving mind-boggling efficiency and showcasing a smooth ride that had customers lining up to build one of their own!

We’ll begin construction of our next demo boat later this month, and we can’t wait to debut her early next year. We’ll be hosting several demo events, attending a boat show or two, then list her for sale – so if you’d be interested in purchasing the next demo boat, please reach out to us  sales@insetta.com
