The Foiling Press – June 2026 Recap

The Foiling Press – June 2026 RecapWelcome back to another edition of The Foiling Press! It’s certainly no secret that summer is here and the heat is on, but that won’t slow our team down! Things are cruising along nicely here at the shop, with a 35IFC delivery last month to Anna Maria Island, and several builds underway that will be heading to Georgia, Australia, and the Florida Keys. We’ll highlight these boats below, as well as share some more news and updates from Insetta Boatworks!

Hull #28: Delivered to Anna Maria Island!

Hull 28 was completed, tested, and delivered to her new stomping grounds last month! This build is powered by Twin 350 HP V10 Mercury’s and features a suite of Garmin Electronics with dual 24″ Displays at the helm and a 4′ Open Array Radar and Kraken trolling motor, Seakeeper Ride, Starlink, JL Audio Sound System, Sionyx Night Vision, and Black and gray accents around the boat to complement her Roberts Gray Hull Color!

Hull #29: Final Assembly Underway

Hull 29 is entering one of the most exciting stages of the build process: final assembly, bringing all of these parts and components together. This complex fiberglass puzzle is finally starting to look like a boat, and before you know it, she’s going to be in the water!

The hardtop, console, and leaning post are being installed as final assembly continues. With these major components coming together inside the 35IFC’s superstructure, water testing is just around the corner. We’re looking forward to splashing this rig soon to begin dialing everything in prior to delivery.

Hull #30: Hull is Out of the Mold!

Our Australia-bound 35IFC continues making outstanding progress!

This month, the hull was released from the mold with the bulkheads and stringer grid fully bonded in, marking a significant step forward in production. For those who were curious, the hull color on this boat is a custom Burnt Orange to match the owner’s business branding. Not only is this going to be the first 35IFC going to the opposite side of the world, but she is definitely going to turn some heads down under with this bold hull color!

Nearly every fiberglass component has been infused and completed, with the liner being the final major piece left to build before this project transitions into assembly. As we’ve shared in previous newsletters, this boat is being built to exceed Australian commercial charter requirements. It has been a fun challenge to work alongside our customer and an Australian Surveyor to learn and apply these foreign boat-building requirements to our boats. As a semi-custom manufacturer, it is always cool to hear how customers want to utilize their 35IFC’s and build them a purpose-built vessel to exceed their expectations!

Hull #31: Small Parts Production

Production on Hull 31 continues to move forward. The team has been busy producing the small fiberglass components, while preparations are underway to begin manufacturing the larger structural parts in the coming weeks.

We’re also excited to announce a major investment in our manufacturing capabilities with the addition of some new interior molds. These new molds will further improve production efficiency and consistency while helping us continue refining the fit and finish that owners have come to expect from every Insetta.

We’re looking forward to sharing more on this exciting development as these new molds begin producing parts.

Insetta Adventures

Well, with the crew from DMFD Life running charters aboard their new Insetta 35IFC, there’s no shortage of Insetta Adventures and memories being made aboard Hull #25! You can follow along on Facebook or Instagram to keep up with what they’re catching, and if you’re in the market to buy an Insetta and want to get a full-day experience aboard a 35IFC, reach out to them to book a charter HERE

The Munster’s took Hull #20 down to the Dry Tortugas, a trip they had been eager to do for a while! They had a great time fishing the abundant reefs down there and boated some great grouper, hogfish, and snapper! The 35IFC is the perfect rig for this trip, no worries about fuel with over 500 gallons of fuel capacity and no need for unsightly fuel bladders!

Lastly, Mr. Philip Lombardi wasted no time putting a solid sword in his new-to-him Insetta! Just a few days after purchasing Hull #10, he put a nearly 300 lb swordfish in the boat! They ran 50 miles back home in some gnarly storms, here’s what he had to say about his first experience on the boat:

“…huge shoutout to Insetta Boatworks for building such a badass rig! In most boats this size, that ride home would have been pretty scary. This boat handled every bit of the 4-5-foot wind chop and still gave us an incredibly comfortable ride”!
