The Foiling Press – July 2026 Recap

The Foiling Press – July 2026 Recap – July has been another productive month here at Insetta Boatworks! Several builds reached major milestones, another boat is just about ready for delivery, and production continues to move at a strong pace with Hulls 30, 31, and 32 all making significant progress. Let’s take a look at what’s been happening around the shop!

Current Builds

Hull #29:
Nearly Ready for Delivery!

Hull 29 has just been delivered! We were hoping to deliver a bit earlier, but a minor hiccup with one of the new components not functioning as expected delayed us a bit. That’s the reality of building boats, and why we make sure we do systems tests, water tests, and plenty of due diligence before delivery. Fortunately, we got the part and were able to get back on track for final testing and delivery this week!

We had a fully custom boat cover made and installed to ensure this rig stays in tip-top shape once she gets home to St. Simon’s Island. She’s also sitting safely out of the water on a Jet Dock, the first time we’ve used one for a 35IFC and she works like a charm. Great option for those with leased or rented wet-slips who don’t want to bottom paint their beautiful boat! There’s a big misconception that it’s difficult to store our boats out of the water. We have boats in dry storage facilities, on cradles, on boat lifts, TideRider floating lifts, docky docks, seapens, and now Jet Docks! Don’t let hearsay scare you away from a 35IFC – our hydrofoil-assisted hull offers an incredible amount of benefits without compromise.

If you want to really get a full-day experience on an Insetta, this boat will also be available for charters, so it will be another great option for prospective customers to get a good feel for a 35IFC prior to purchasing! This is their second Insetta 35IFC, so the crew can certainly offer plenty of advice and experience if you’re in the market – reach out to Captain Mark Noble!

Hull #30:
All FRP Complete!

Hull 30 reached a huge milestone this month with the liner successfully infused, meaning every fiberglass component for the boat has now been completed. The infusion went flawlessly, and the hull already has its bulkheads and stringers fully bonded in. With the structural work complete, the boat is now making its way into the rigging shop, where the next exciting chapter begins.

The cap has been released, trimmed, and is ready for hardware installation, including rod holders and other finishing components before final assembly. This Australian-bound build continues to move along exceptionally well.

Hull #31:
Large Components Underway

Hull 31 is transitioning into the next phase of production. All of the small fiberglass parts have now been completed, and work begins this week on the first of the large structural components as the cap enters production this week

Looking ahead, the hull is scheduled to begin infusion next week, marking another exciting milestone as this build continues to take shape. This particular build is this customer’s 2nd 35IFC, after 2 years of running his first boat, he came back to our team with a few ideas and things he wanted to do differently with his next build!

Our sales team facilitated a quick and easy sale of his current 35IFC (which has already made it to her new stomping grounds in New Smyrna Beach, FL) and his new build will be ready in a few months. Next month, we’ll update everyone on some of the new features this particular build will have, so stay tuned!!

Hull #32:
Production Begins

It’s always exciting to welcome another hull into the production lineup! Hull 32 has officially begun construction, with the stringers and bulkheads successfully infused.

Next up, the team will begin producing the small fiberglass components, officially kicking off another Insetta 35IFC build. This boat is going to be a really cool color, can’t wait for the hull reveal on this one – we’ve got some really creative colors and patterns this year!

Insetta Adventures

July is an incredible month for fishing and diving in the Southeastern US! From the bluewater to the reefs, Insetta customers and charters have been tearing up the fish and lobster!

The 35IFC is an extremely versatile boat; the massive dive platform is low to the surface of the water, allowing for easy, comfortable entry and exit when diving, snorkeling, etc. It also doubles as an awesome spot to fish from, mount an additional large cooler, or even tuna tubes!

If you enjoy fishing and diving, but still want a comfortable vessel with tons of seating for sandbar days and cruising with the family, reach out to us and discuss a build or see what your own Insetta 35IFC would look like (and cost) by using our 3D Boat Builder Module on our site!
