The Foiling Press – December 2023 – We’ve wrapped up an incredible year at Insetta Boatworks! 2023 was very different from prior years, and we’re extremely proud of how our team facilitated our continued growth amidst challenging economic circumstances. The Insetta brand has reached new heights thanks to our amazing team and the customers who have trusted us to build them their dream boats! Thanks to everyone who has played a role, small or large, in our development. Read ahead for more info on the past month at Insetta Boatworks:
This Sky Blue build is complete! Testing has begun, and she’ll head down to her new home in roughly 2 weeks. This boat will spend its time offshore fishing in what is commonly called the “Sport Fishing Capital of the World”. She’s equipped with twin 300 HP Mercury V8 Verados and Simrad Electronics; this 35IFC is ready for some serious bluewater action!
The Whisper Gray build is flying together! The hull, console, leaning post, and hardtop have made their way to the rigging shop. Below deck rigging in the hull is being sorted while another crew preps the console, leaning post, and hard top to rig up electronics and other components. Meanwhile, the infusion crew has finished the cap and liner, and all compartments (fish boxes, anchor locker, etc.) are being bonded in!
The final build in progress has small parts like hatches and helm step being built at the moment, with most other small parts such as the anchor locker, fish boxes, livewells already completed. Mid-sized components like the new sleeper console are being gelled and skinned this week and the liner is slated to be infused next week. We’ll also begin to prep her hull for infusion late next week! Any guesses on what this hull color will be?!
Hull #10 took advantage of the full moon and put a massive 86 lb Wahoo in the boat this past week! Congrats guys, great work!
