We kicked off the year with a full house here at Insetta Boatworks! Three beautiful 35IFC’s in production, one delivery down to the Florida Keys, and plenty of opportunities ahead to get out for a ride and bring home an Insetta 35IFC of your own! Read ahead for our January 2024 update:
Our final Sky Blue 35IFC build was completed, tested, and delivered down to the Florida Keys this past month. This build turned out beautifully, with sky blue interior accents, snow camo seadek, and all white accents around the rest of the boat. Simrad electronics and Mercury power will have her owners putting some great fish in the boat this upcoming season!
Next up, the Whisper Gray build! The liner has been dry-fitted and bonded into the hull. This process can be tedious at times, but this time it went incredibly smoothly – always nice! Now she’s in the rigging shop awaiting her console and leaning post to be bonded in next week (all these components are ready to roll – see below). Meanwhile, the cap has been released, trimmed, and rigged with all rod holders!
Finally, the next 35IFC has had her liner gelled, skin-coated, and has been stacked with glass and core composites, prepped for infusion. The bulkheads and stringers are in the hull the team has commenced under-deck rigging. She’ll be ready to come out of the mold next week and we’ll reveal her hull color! In addition to all of this, we’ve also got a crew working on the new sleeper console/liner as well. Fun times!
Hull #7 crushed it while bottom fishing out in the gulf and had a surprise visit from this beautiful African Pompano in addition to plenty of other reef species!
Our boats must attract these fish or something! hahaha! On the other coast, hull #10 boated another African Pompano while fishing up in St. Simons. Check out the video on our Instagram!
