The Foiling Press – October 2024 – It’s been tough to set aside time to write our monthly newsletter. So much has happened in October that the craziness has overflowed into November, and it doesn’t seem to be slowing down any time soon! Hurricanes wreaked havoc this past month, but we’ve been so unbelievably thankful that our team, friends, and families have remained safe.
Despite being set back due to the storms, we were fortunate enough to complete our latest 35IFC in time for an action-packed 6 days of private demos during FLIBS. A huge shout-out to our team for putting in maximum effort, starting early, and staying late to finish this boat on time! And another shout-out to all of the awesome folks that took the time to join us for a sea trial in the less-than-ideal conditions, 20 knots of wind and 4-6′ seas aren’t the most fun but it was great showing off how the 35IFC handles it.
Those of you fortunate enough to check this boat out last week can attest that this latest 35IFC turned out absolutely amazing! This build features twin 300 HP V8 Mercury Verados, Simrad Electronics, Gemlux components, a Rodan Trolling Motor, and a few “firsts” for a 35IFC.
- Updated upholstery on the rear-facing seat and coffin box to better contour the body to make for more comfortable and secure seating
- Added two more in-deck, macerated fish boxes to the boat’s cockpit
- Installed the largest Simrad MFDs on a 35IFC to date; dual 24” units fill out the dash nicely!
Watch the walkthrough video below to check this build out:
The next build in line is a color that many folks have been dying to see: Seafoam Green! Rigging in full swing, the console and hard top are currently being rigged up. The liner has been released from mold this week, trimmed, and will be installed in the next few weeks. The Fuel tanks and Hydrofoil should be completed shortly and ready for installation soon!
