The Foiling Press – February 2025 – Hello and welcome to February’s edition of The Foiling Press! February was an extremely eventful month, with so much packed into only 28 days, it was seriously hectic! That being said, our team was up to the challenge and stayed on track building boats while the rest of the team was down at the Miami Boat Show. We had an awesome show, making great new friends, catching up with old friends, and adding a few more builds to the list!
For this edition of The Foiling Press, we’re going to try out a different format for build updates. Please feel free to reach out and let us know what you think about this style and whether you prefer it over our typical paragraph-style updates. Anyway, let’s get into it!
Hull #19
Status: Motors have been installed, and the boat is now fully rigged. Final connections in the console are nearing completion.
Next Steps: We plan to test systems and start engines next week, with a water test scheduled for the end of the week!

Hull #20
Status: The liner was infused last week, and all fish boxes and compartments are bonded and ready to be released. The cap, which now has the live wells and an anchor looker bonded in, is set for release tomorrow.
Next Steps: The liner is scheduled to be released next week. Meanwhile, the hull is in the rigging shop, with hull rigging underway. Hardtop rigging, console rigging, leaning post rigging, and coffin box rigging are all in progress and ready for their next phases.

Hull #21
Status: The console and its liner have been bonded, with finishing touches underway.
The leaning post is also in the finishing stage. The coffin box and hardtop (upper and lower) are primed—bonding and rigging are next on the agenda.
Progress: Bulkheads and stringers have been completed, and multiple small parts (such as hatches) are ready for installation.
Next Steps: The hull is scheduled to be infused this week!

Hull #22
Status: The console, leaning post, coffin box, and all white small parts received their gel coat and skin.
Next Steps: Once the gel coat for color is delivered, colored parts will begin next week. Additional small parts are nearing completion, and bulkheads and stringers are currently underway.

Hull #2 (Resale)
Status: This boat has been updated, water tested, and detailed. We installed some additional items at the customer’s request to make the boat perfect for him and his family!
Next Steps: The boat is now ready for delivery.

For those in the Southeastern US, don’t hesitate to contact our team about repairs or refits! Last year, we established a secondary part of our business called AMD Fiberglass & Boat Repairs to service the growing demand for repairs in the area. Our highly-skilled team is happy to help you tackle projects on your boat, even if it’s not an Insetta!
The crew aboard Hull #5 braved some gnarly conditions and crossed over to the Bahamas from Port Everglades in early February – nothing the 35IFC can’t handle! The target species was wahoo; although the fish were scarce, the boys still got it done. An awesome detail about our huge swim platform and walkthrough transom is you can drag fish like wahoo straight through the walkthrough and into the boat!
We love hearing stories from our Insetta family about their fishing trips, island-hopping excursions, and more. If you have a story or photo you’d like to share, please send it our way—we might feature it in an upcoming newsletter!
Coming soon – 2023 Insetta 35IFC
Twin Suzuki 300’s, Simrad Electronics, and loaded to the brim with options! Available Summer 2025. Reach out to our team if you’re interested, as the owner is upgrading to a new Insetta 35IFC!
