The Foiling Press – May 2026 Recap – The days are flying by here at Insetta, but man, we could not be more grateful to be as busy as we are! We had a delivery last month that made its way across the Atlantic to the islands; another build entering the final stages before delivery; another moving rapidly through assembly; our Australian build making steady progress; and a brand-new 35IFC officially underway. Exciting times here in St. Mary’s GA!
Let’s jump into the latest updates!
Hull #28: The Final Countdown!
Hull 28 – Final Countdown
Hull 28 is down to the final details and is nearly ready to hit the water.
- All of the major components have now been installed.
- The hardtop, console, and pipework are in place.
- The remaining caulking work is underway.
- Water testing is currently scheduled for this week.
It’s always exciting when a build reaches this stage. After months of work, seeing everything come together and preparing for that first sea trial never gets old.
Hull #29: Assembly Beginning
Hull 29 continues to move forward nicely!
- The majority of the hull rigging has been completed.
- Fuel tanks and the foil assembly will be installed shortly.
- The liner is scheduled to be installed next week.
- The cap has been trimmed and is currently being prepared for rigging.
- Once the liner is in place, the cap is expected to be installed shortly thereafter—likely by mid-week.
A slight delay in foil manufacturing slowed production temporarily, but this build is rapidly making up ground and should continue progressing quickly through assembly.
Hull #30: The First Orange Insetta EVER!
Our Australian build continues to take shape.
- The hull has been gelled and skinned.
- Small parts, hardtop, fish boxes, livewells, and other components have all been completed.
- The team is now transitioning into the medium-sized components.
- Up next will be construction of the liner and cap.
As we’ve mentioned previously, this build will ultimately head Down Under, where it is being developed to exceed Australian requirements for commercial charter operation. It’s been a unique and rewarding process working alongside Australian surveyors to bring this project to life and it will certainly be cool to see this bold-colored Insetta 35IFC running along the Great Barrier Reef sometime soon!
Hull #30: Production is Underway!
The next 35IFC in line has officially entered production!
This month, the team began the infusion process for the stringers and bulkheads, laying the foundation for another incredible build.
It’s always exciting to start a new hull, and we’ll be sharing more details about this project as it progresses through the shop.
Summer is here, and we’re looking forward to seeing more Insettas chasing pelagics, island hopping through the Bahamas, and making memories aboard their beautiful boats!
If you’ve been out enjoying your Insetta lately, we’d love to hear about it. Send us your photos and trip reports for a chance to be featured in an upcoming issue and across our social channels.
