The Foiling Press – March 2025 – Hello Insetta Owners and Enthusiasts, welcome back to another edition of The Foiling Press! We’re full steam ahead building boats, delivering boats, hosting events, and we’re loving it! This past month, Jeffrey and Nick delivered a used 2021 Insetta 35IFC to her new home in Marco Island (check out the review her new owner sent us) prior to hosting demos Ft. Myers, FL. A new 35IFC was delivered to her new home in the Keys last week, and we’ve got 3 other builds going on at the moment. Enjoy this month’s updates below:
Hull #19 was delivered to her home in the Florida Keys last week! This is the second 35IFC the Dinning’s have built with us, so they opted to make a few adjustments from their previous 35IFC to suit their needs best! One of the most noticeable differences from their last boat is an all-new color scheme, ice blue hullsides with sky blue bottom, and a cream interior! She’s got tan accents for a classy look, and is powered by Mercury 300 V8s and features a full suite of Garmin electronics!
Mr Dinning wasted no time. On Tuesday, he went out fishing and said she performed great! He secured some fresh Mahi Mahi for dinner – a great way to christen the new rig!

Hull #20
The hull pre-rigging for Hull #20 was completed this past month, and the liner has been released, trimmed, and finished. All pre-rigging has been completed in preparation for installation. Additionally, the cap has been trimmed, finished, and fitted with all the necessary hardware, while the leaning post and coffin box have been pre-rigged. Meanwhile, the console is currently being pre-rigged.
The liner installation is scheduled for this week, and shortly after we’ll be installing the cap, leaning post, and coffin box once the pre-rigging is complete.

Hull #21
All small parts have been infused and finished and are now ready for installation. The cap has been gel-coated and skinned, and it is currently being dry stacked in preparation for infusion, which is planned for this Friday. In addition, the bulkheads and stringers are complete, and the hull is scheduled to start next week.

Hull #22
#22’s Hull was infused last week, and today the bulkheads and stringers were installed. The console, leaning post, and coffin box have all been infused and are in the finishing stage, and multiple small parts, including hatches and lids, have been completed. Furthermore, the hardtop upper and lower have been infused and are now ready for bonding. Next, the hull is scheduled to be released, and we will proceed with the final bonding and installation of the remaining components as we move closer to full completion.
Jeffrey joined the guys aboard Hull #10 and ventured out of St. Simon’s Island. They came home with a beautiful mixed bag, including 4 solid Wahoo and plenty of Yellow eye snapper and beeliners to send everyone home with some good eats!

The crew aboard Hull #18 did a 350+ Mile run deep into the gulf this past week and filled the box(es) with some beautiful bottom fish! Queen Snapper, Yellow eye snapper, Tilefish, and Snowy Grouper were a few of the species secured on this trip. The 35IFC doesn’t need an external fuel bladder for long-range trips like this – her massive fuel capacity coupled with class-leading efficiency make her the perfect fit for trips out to Pulley Ridge!

We love hearing stories from our Insetta family about their fishing trips, island-hopping excursions, and more. If you have a story or photo you’d like to share, please send it our way—we might feature it in an upcoming newsletter!
