The Foiling Press – May 2023 – We’re sure that we sound like a broken record by now, but as always – the Insetta team has been extremely busy lately! We’re building customer boats, showing off our latest demo boat at events, and touring our way through Florida hosting our private demo events. But hey, busy is a good thing in this business and we’re privileged to have an extremely dedicated and talented team putting in the work to build the best boats we possibly can! Let’s dig into our current builds, upcoming events, and news:
Our new demo boat is completed and underwent in-water testing in early May. She passed with flying colors running 1.4-1.8 mpg in most conditions, we were even able to squeeze over 2 mpg with a little help from the wind and tide! We hosted the first of 3 private demo events, Fernandina was great providing us with some nasty seas to really show off how well these boats handle in the rough. This boat is also FOR SALE and will be ready for delivery after our final demo event in Clearwater, FL – this is an amazing opportunity to get into a 35IFC without the wait, not to mention just in time for summer boating and fishing! Below-deck rigging is nearly complete on this Sky Blue 35IFC! UW lights are installed, and electronics are being mounted in the console – not long before the liner is bonded in, it really comes together very quickly from this point forward. She’s equipped with Suzuki 300’s and Simrad Electronics and quite a few cool additions. Let’s just say this boat is loaded with options and will be one heck of a swiss army knife!
Next up, another Sky Blue 35IFC! This build will be powered by twin 300 Mercury V8 Verados. All large parts for this build are completed, the hull and bulkheads were vacuum-infused last week and will be installed this week. The crew is really getting dialed in when it comes to efficiently building these boats – big shoutout to the guys for bringing their A-Game every day!
We’ll be hosting 2 events this month. Keep in mind, these are private, invite-only events and you must reserve a time slot for a walkthrough and sea trial.
