The Foiling Press – April 2024 – April has been a month full of firsts for us here at Insetta Boatworks! We hosted our first demo event outside the state of Florida (in Ocean Springs, Mississippi), installed our first SeaKeeper in one of our 35IFC’s, our first set of V10 400 HP Mercury outboards were delivered, and finished building our first “sleeper cabin”. We had one boat delivery this month and we have added a few more members to the Insetta Boatworks Family who are stoked to build their dream boats! We delivered this beautiful Whisper Gray 35IFC to her new home in Ocean Springs, Mississippi earlier this month. We couldn’t be happier with the color combinations on this boat. The light gray hull and interior are complemented by brown/tan upholstery and flexiteek decking, which really gives it a luxurious feel. We have a full walkthrough video coming soon, but for now, here’s a quick look at her:
Next up, the Island Turquoise boat is back in the rigging department! The Seakeeper Gyro stabilizer was installed this past week, and while it did require some special wiring and plumbing, our team knocked the installation out of the park! The new sleeper console (check it out HERE) and leaning post will be installed in the near future once the cap is installed. Meanwhile, the Dash and electronics are being prepped. This is the stage when the build really starts to come together quickly, we’re so excited to see this one finished!
We won’t spoil the hull color just yet for the next build in line, but her hull was infused last week and the stringer/bulkhead grid will be bonded in this week. From there, we can pull the hull out of the mold and begin our below-deck rigging! The liner is also being prepped, with the fish boxes built and being bonded in as well. Meanwhile, the infusion crew is building hatches and other various parts (yes, every fiberglass component on our boats is vacuum-infused)!!!
Finally, we’ve started ordering gel coat colors and materials for the next build we’ll be starting this month. We’ve got a new option we’ll be unveiling on this boat that we’re excited to show you soon!
