The Foiling Press – June 2024 – It’s Summertime and the heat is on! Fortunately, our facilities are temperature controlled and a day out on the water in an Insetta 35IFC is a great way to beat the heat! We’re back with June monthly newsletter to keep you up to date on the latest builds, upcoming events, and more. We know many of you have been waiting to hear about the latest build that we delivered this past month, so let’s get into it:
We kicked off the month of June with some in-water testing on the Island Turquoise 35IFC equipped with twin V10 Mercury 400R’s, a Seakeeper 4 Gyro stabilizer, and our new sleeper console option. Then, we headed south to Mercury’s private testing facility, “Lake X,” to work with the team at Mercury to dial in this boat in some controlled conditions. Overall, the V10 400’s have proven themselves to be an awesome power offering, especially for those that plan to load their boat down HEAVY for long range fishing trips. We tested variable weights, different props, efficiency and top end. In comparison to the V8 300’s, we saw improvements in top end, heavy-load efficiency, hole shot, and single-motor performance. We delivered the boat towards the end of the month and it has been out on the water as much as possible!
For those that are interested in building a 35IFC with these V10’s, please reach out to us to discuss if this power package is right for you.

Next, the Pacific Blue 35IFC’s hull is fully rigged, hydrofoils are installed, and she’s ready for liner installation next week! The Cap is fully rigged ready for installation once liner is bonded in, meaning next week is really when this build will appear to fly together. Meanwhile, console rigging is nearly complete, the hardtop is fully rigged ready for installation and the coffin box and leaning post are also rigged and ready for installation.

Finally, the next 35IFC will be infused shortly! We’ll wait to reveal the hull color until she’s out of the mold, any guesses on what this one will look like?! She’ll be the first to have a new option relating to storage/capacity, we’ll announce this in the near future.
Additionally, the last of the bulkheads and stringers are being finished up this week and the console, leaning post, coffin box, and hardtop are all released and finished. All hatches and small parts completed and the cap will be started straight after the hull is finished, and after that the liner will be infused.
