Hey everyone! Welcome back to another edition of The Foiling Press! Spring is here, and things are heating up – both temperature-wise AND in the factory. We’re working on making some more improvements to the 35IFC’s interior, with a focus on the console, hardtop, and coffin box. We feel as though we should always be refining our product, and with the valuable feedback from our customers, we continue to push forward with building the best boats we possibly can.
We’ve got 4 builds underway, and the sales team is gearing up for an event at the end of the month that we can’t wait to tell you more about – so read ahead and enjoy the build updates!
Hull #21 – Major Components Prepped & Ready
All rigging is complete, and the boat successfully completed its first sea trial with excellent performance right out of the box. Hats off to our rigging team for a job well done!
Next Steps: SeaDek installation, Second water test, Ceramic coating, and Final delivery

Hull #20 – Rigging Complete & Water Testing is Underway
We recently completed the hull infusion for Hull #21, and now we’re prepping for bulkhead installation, which is set for this week. We’ll release the boat from the mold shortly after this is completed. The cap has been infused, released, trimmed, and finished, and is now ready for hardware installation. The hardtop has also been fully infused and is prepped for rigging. The console, leaning post, and coffin box have undergone final finishing and are now ready for cutouts for storage and electronics. Additionally, all small parts are fully prepped and staged for installation.
Next Steps: Bulkhead installation, hardware mounting, and component cutouts.

Hull #22 – Rigging and Reinforcements
Exciting news! Hull #22 has upgraded to V10 Mercury 400Rs, which should provide plenty of HP to move this 35IFC with its custom tower! The hull is now in the rigging shop, and the main foil has been installed and the rear stabilizing finlets are being installed next. Console cutouts are underway in the rigging shop, the Hardtop is complete and prepped for move-in, the liner was geled and skinned yesterday in preparation for infusion
Next Steps: Fuel tank installation and general rigging, and Dry stacking of core composites for the liner before infusion (this week)

Quick note: If you’re thinking about building a 35IFC, make sure you detail how you plan to use your boat during the options selection process. Jeffrey and Nick will be able to make the best recommendation based on what your intended use case is. In this scenario, the customers will be doing long runs off the coast of the Carolinas. Additionally, they will have the first Insetta 35IFC equipped with a tower. This means they will be running the boat heavy and adding more weight and drag with the tower, requiring more HP than other 35IFCs.
Hull #23 – Materials Arrived, Small Parts Starting
Early stages, but still exciting! We’ve received the core and fiberglass kits, and production of small parts is scheduled to begin this week!
Jeffrey joined the guys aboard the R-Kat (Hull #11) on the Gulf Coast for a kingfish tournament! They nailed a solid kingfish – check out the video on our Facebook or Instagram page!
The crew aboard Hull #18 covered 420 miles in 21 hours during a fishing trip in the Gulf this past month. They were loaded down with fuel, ice, gear, and eager anglers and returned with a box full of fish and 140 gallons of fuel left in the tank! No external fuel bladder needed – How awesome is that?!

We love hearing stories from our Insetta family about their fishing trips, island-hopping excursions, and more. If you have a story or photo you’d like to share, please send it our way—we might feature it in an upcoming newsletter!
