The Foiling Press – August 2024—Summer has come to a close, and we’re very happy with the momentum we’ve picked up over the past few months. Our first-ever demo event in Charleston, South Carolina, in early August was a huge success (and a great time)—huge thanks to the Snyder Family for their hospitality!
At the factory, our crew has been hard at work. We’ve got some awesome builds in the pipeline, and we’re so thankful to have such an incredibly talented team going above and beyond to craft a beautiful product. We’re excited to finish Q4 strong and hit the ground running in 2025! As always, we’ll run through our current builds, events, and more in this month’s edition of The Foiling Press:
First up, the Pacific Blue 35IFC! We completed the build this month and hit the water for testing of all systems and some fine-tuning last week. Her twin V8 300 HP Mercurys performed flawlessly – we even tested different props and got the boat up on plane with one motor running at 36 MPH @ 1.6 MPG! This boat is equipped with Garmin Electronics, JL Audio sound system, Seadek, a Rhodan trolling motor, and Sionyx Night vision. She headed home to Southwest Florida just in time for Labor Day Weekend!

Next up, a Sky Blue 35IFC! This month, her cap was released, trimmed, and prepped to install rod holders and other cap accessories. The liner was released this past month and is heading to the rigging shop, where all below-deck rigging has been completed. The liner will be bonded into the hull in the coming week and the boat will really start to fly together from this point on!
Last but not least, another 35IFC has began moving along this month. The console, leaning post, hard top, hatches, and compartments were built and finished this past month. During September we’ll begin the large parts, starting off with infusing the hull! Can you guess what color this one will be?!

When we first launched the 35IFC, our goal was to concentrate on building boats for customers in the Southeastern United States. Over the past few years, we’ve accomplished exactly that! You can find our boats from Mississippi, down to the Florida Keys, and up the coast to South Carolina. We’ve been fortunate enough to meet a wide variety of prospective customers who use their boats for varying purposes – some love to cruise and island hop, others love to do some hardcore fishing, and many like to do both! Being a semi-custom builder, we can cater to each customer’s needs to make the boat perfect for what they plan on using it for.
Based on feedback from many folks in the Northeast and West Coast of the US, we’ve had overwhelming inquiries about customizing boats for their unique needs, with a resounding call for a Pilothouse style arrangement that can provide the protection and warmth needed during colder months. While we are still in the early design stages of a Pilothouse model for commercial and recreational applications, we wanted to share some teasers of what is possible!
Enjoy these renderings, share your feedback, and let us know if you’re interested in a Pilothouse 35IFC!
