The Foiling Press – August 2025 – As summer comes to an end, our team is gearing up this fall to end the year strong! We’ve got some awesome partnerships on the horizon (builds coming soon), new engines/electronics being tested on builds, and in general – just a lot of cool stuff going on.

Without further adieu, let’s dig into current builds and show y’all what’s been happening in the past month!
Current Builds
Hull #21: Tested and Ready for Delivery!
Hull #21 hit the water this past month for some testing and fine tuning! After dialing in some details, she was absolutely crushing it on performance. With a light load (23% fuel, 4 passengers, no gear/ice) we saw 2.1 MPG at 42 MPH (and 4200 RPM’s). Now, we always like to add that this is just preliminary testing, and this is not your typical “real world conditions”. That being said, we expect this build to be operating in the 1.4-1.8 MPG range on her normal fishing outings in SW FL and the keys, depending on sea state and load.
We’re waiting on her trailer to arrive and installing an anti-theft system on the boat before we transport her to her new home, excited to get some more feedback as she’s put to use this year as this is the first raymarine electronics boat. So, for anyone that wants to try new power, electronics, or explore other options, just remember that we are a semi-custom builder and we’re open to trying new components if it’s what you want on your build!
Hull #23: Time to Piece this Beauty Together!
Hull #23 is all rigged up below deck and has her tanks going in prior to bonding in the pre-rigged liner. The cap is already infused, trimmed, and rigged and will be bonded in next week. Together, these 3 pieces create an extremely solid superstructure that is built to handle whatever you want to throw at her! Meanwhile, the console is in pre-rigging along with the custom leaning post with slide-out rear cooler setup. Excited to show y’all how much more cockpit space you get with this option!
We’re inching closer to getting these Honda 350’s mounted on this rig and we can’t wait to see what type of performance we’re able to achieve. According to everyone we’ve spoken with, these motors are extremely efficient. So pairing them up with the most efficient catamaran on the market should yield some impressive results! Stay tuned!!!
Hull #24: Stringer/Bulkhead Grid Bonded, Ready for Cap & Liner!
Hull 24’s stringer and bulkhead grid were bonded in this past month. Now that they’re in, the hull is ready to be released from the mold and we’ll be able to give y’all a peak at the hull color! The cap for this boat has been prepped and infused this past week and the liner will be infused next week! Medium and small parts are all done and ready for rigging.
Hull #25: Initial Phase
We’re scooting along getting all the small parts built for Hull #25, and once Hull #24 is out of the mold we’ll be ready to gel, skin, and stack the mold in preperation for infusion of hull #25!
