The Foiling Press – December 2024 – We hope everyone enjoyed the Holidays and has started 2025 off strong! We’re extremely fortunate to have had such a successful year in the midst of what has been a historically tough year for the marine industry. We believe that with an excellent team, strong customer service, and a quality product, we will continue to persevere through the tough times and excel in the good times!
We’re dedicated to making continuous improvements in all aspects of our company, with an emphasis on building the finest vessels we possibly can for the most discerning customers. Without further adieu, welcome back to another edition of The Foiling Press!
Last month, we completed production on this incredible Seafoam Green 35IFC. She is loaded to the brim with options, including Twin 350 HP Yamahas w/ joystick, a full suite of Garmin electronics, starlink, powerpole trolling motor, and much more! Initial testing with the Yamaha’s went extremely well, the first time this boat hit the water, she achieved some very promising numbers. Here are some brief highlights from a light-load, calm-water test with the boat:
- Top Speed of 61 MPH @ 1 MPG
- Up to 2 MPG at Cruise
- Climbed up on the foil at 25 MPH
While we love to be able to show off these numbers, we do also like to maintain realistic expectations. In a real-world scenario, where the boat is loaded down with fuel, ice, gear, and more passengers, we expect cruise economy to vary between 1.4-1.8 MPG depending on load and conditions. We will continue to refine and test performance on this vessel over the coming months and report back (a few fishing trips may be required 😂)!

This two-toned 35IFC is headed to the rigging shop early next week! The console, leaning post ,coffin box, and hardtop are built and ready for pre-rigging that will also start next week. Meanwhile, the cap has been infused, released, and trimmed and is ready for rigging as well. A cool detail about this boat is the starboard side livewell has been converted into a sink. The owner’s previous Insetta 35IFC also had this customization, and after fishing the boat, we really enjoyed this little add-on!

Next up, another 35IFC is having a boatload of fiberglass parts built and finished! The Hardtop, Coffin box, Hatch lids, Stringers, Anchor locker, and Forward cooler were all vacuum infused, released, and trimmed last month. Now, the Leaning post, Console, and Bulkheads are underway.

We love hearing stories from our Insetta family about their fishing trips, island-hopping excursions, and more. If you have a story or photo you’d like to share, please send it our way—we might feature it in an upcoming newsletter!
We’ve got a beautiful 2021 Insetta 35IFC that will be hitting the market later this month! Keep your eyes peeled because we’re certain this boat will sell quickly. Reach out to sales@insetta.com if you’re interested!
