The Foiling Press – February 2024 – February was a busy month for the Insetta Boatworks team! Production stayed plenty busy with builds and newly developed molds, while the sales team headed south to Miami for the Miami International Boat Show. We enjoyed excellent conditions for showcasing the 35IFC down in Miami and each and every day was filled to the brim with sea trials! As usual, the 35IFC did what she does and displayed her smooth, comfortable ride while showing off some impressive economy and performance in the choppy February conditions. This sharp-looking Whisper Gray build is going in the water next week for initial testing! Electronics are installed and all that’s left to do is install the glass on our console and the dive ladder! Like all of our boats, she’ll undergo extensive testing before she’s ready to deliver to her new home in Mississippi!
Next up, the Island Turquoise hull has made its way into the rigging department! Because this boat will be the first 35IFC equipped with a seakeeper, our team is adding in additional support bulkheads where the seakeeper will be mounted to ensure it’s built to last a lifetime. Meanwhile, the hardtop and console are finished and ready to rig, the cap was infused last week, and the liner is just about ready to leave the mold now that her fishboxes have been bonded in. We also finished and test-fitted the new sleeper-console option and will continue to refine this before installation!
Finally, we’ve gotten a head start infusing the bulkheads, stringers, and various small parts for the next build in line. Just about every part on our 35IFC’s are vacuum-infused, while it is costly, we take pride in knowing that our builds will outlive and outlast the competition!
We were stoked to see our good friend and customer Robert Arrington (AKA DeerMeatForDinner) at the Miami Boat Show! We had time to catch up and he told us that hunting season is winding down, so it’s back to the water in his 35IFC!
