The Foiling Press – February 2026

The Foiling Press – February 2026 – February has been a good month! Miami Boat Show demos in the books, new builds on the list, and another event coming up! We’ve got boats hitting the water, new hulls moving through infusion, and even an international build on the horizon. The team has been working hard to keep everything moving forward, and it’s exciting to see so many builds progressing simultaneously. We’ve got the Wharf Boat Show coming up next week in Orange Beach, AL, also, so don’t forget to book your private sea trial!! Let’s dive into the latest updates

Current Builds

Hull #
25 – Water Tested & Heading to the Bahamas

Hull 25 is officially in the water and fully tested, and she’s already preparing for her first real adventure. This build will be heading to the Bahamas for her christening trip, where she will begin doing exactly what these boats are built for—long runs, blue water, and putting fish in the box! Tune into Robert’s YouTube channel, DeerMeatForDinner, to follow along with their adventures aboard their brand new Insetta 35IFC!

A quick summary of the options and components on this build: Suzuki 300’s with Duo Props, Raymarine Electronics, Powerpole trolling motor, Gemlux hardware, Lumitec lighting, and a custom tower built by our friends over at Coastal Custom Towers!

Hull #
27 – Rigging Underway

Hull 27 has reached an important milestone with all fiberglass parts completed. The hull is now in the rigging shop, and the cap will be heading there soon as assembly begins to take shape. The foil has been mounted and bonded in, another key step in bringing this hull closer to the water.

Hull #28:
FRP Phase Nearing Completion

Hull 28 is moving quickly through the structural stages of the build:

  • Hull infused

  • Bulkhead and stringer grid installed and bonded

  • Liner infused

Only a few fiberglass components remain before the FRP phase is fully completed, which is currently scheduled for March 19th. Once that milestone is reached, this build will begin transitioning into assembly and rigging.

Hull #29:
Production Starting

Hull 29 has officially entered production. The team has begun building small and medium fiberglass parts, marking the first stages of what will soon become another fully loaded 35IFC.

Hull #30: Due Dilligence Before Her Aussie Adventure!

Hull 30 will be making its way all the way to Australia, marking another exciting international build for the Insetta lineup.

Our design and engineering teams are working closely with Australian surveyors to ensure the boat meets or exceeds all required standards and certifications for operation there. It’s a detailed process, but one we’re excited about as the 35IFC continues expanding globally.

Insetta Adventures

With the offshore season heating up, and more 35IFC’s hitting the water, we’re expecting plenty of great stories from the fleet in the coming months! Tony Eden, owner of Hull #26, wasted no time putting his new 35IFC to use! The Boattronics Marine crew went 4 for 4 on wahoo in the NE Florida Wahoo Shootout. Here’s what Tony had to say:

“1.65 @ 40 aint bad (completely untouchable) for a 37′ 16k+lb boat with a full tournament load in the open ocean. (On the way back only had like 250 gallons) I gotta be honest. I was afraid the foil might do something weird when high speed trolling, and not raise fish. But 30 minutes into our first pull, those fears left me. We high sped trolled from lines in at 7am, to lines out at 5pm the entire time. We only burned an even 250 gallons, going approximately 40mph the whole way out and the whole way in, taking her all the way from Isle of Palms….”

Tony was running his twin 350 Honda’s at 40 MPH out to the fishing grounds, burning 1.65 MPG. Typically, high speed trolling is the least efficient speed on most vessels in this class. While high speed trolling with a tournament load, they averaged 1 MPG.

The 35IFC has proven to be a great platform for this style of fishing! Because the 35IFC has no steps, she is able to maintain your speed of choice without requiring constant throttle adjustments. Additionally, her transducers read very well as they are fully submerged and not dealing with the aeration often caused by steps. We’re excited to watch Tony and the crew continue to put this boat to good use!

If you’ve been out running your Insetta recently, send us your photos or trip highlights—we love sharing owner adventures in upcoming newsletters and on social media.
