The Foiling Press – July 2024 – Welcome back to another edition of our monthly newsletter, The Foiling Press! July seemed to absolutely fly by, we delivered the twin V10 400 HP Powered Insetta 35IFC to her new home in Charleston, SC, and hosted a private event to kick off August. Back at the factory, the guys have been hard at work on the next three 35IFC’s in line. Let’s dig into our current builds, adventures, events and more:
First up, the Pacific Blue 35IFC! This beautiful boat is in the home stretch and we’re working hard to get this boat finished up so our customers can enjoy the last bit of summer in the new boat! The Cap was installed this month, so all of the large parts (hull, cap, and liner) are bonded together, and the coffin box, console, and leaning post have been installed. She’s waiting on her twin 300 HP V8 Mercury’s to be hung off the back this upcoming week!

The next 35IFC is Sky Blue, she’ll be powered by twin 300 V8 Mercury verados and equipped with Garmin electronics. She came out of the mold this month after her stringer and bulkhead grid were bonded in! Meanwhile, both the cap and liner were infused, with all of the below deck compartments built and bonded into the liner. The cap was gelled, skinned, and vacuum-infused last week, so just about all the large fiberglass parts are finished!

One cool detail about this particular boat is we’ve added 2 extra fish boxes in the cockpit per the customer’s request. We’ve achieved this by reducing the fuel capacity to ~300 Gallons. Because the 35IFC is so efficient, 300 gallons can still provide 500+ miles of range, which is perfect for where and how this boat will be primarily used. Small details and customizations like this are what set Insetta apart from the pack – every boat is unique and purpose-built for its owner!

And finally, the next 35IFC is in the early stages of production as we secure core kits, order gel coat, and prepare the molds! Any guesses what color she’ll be?! Stay tuned…
Is there a better way to spend the 4th than out on the water?! The crew aboard hull #15 wasted no time getting out on the water to enjoy the day!
This month, Florida residents were lucky enough to get an extra Residents-Only day for lobster mini-season! The boys on Hull #5 took full advantage of the opportunity!
Speaking of lobster, check out the monster bugs that Robert Arrington caught this past month aboard his 35IFC!
And here are a few more of his adventures from July:
