The Foiling Press – November 2023 – While the weather is finally cooling down at the factory, production is heating up! We have three builds and a few other projects we’re working on; as always, we’ll highlight the current builds in progress and queue you in on some new progress as well. Read ahead for more info on what we’ve been up to here at Insetta Boatworks!
Our third Sky Blue build is nearly complete! The crew is working diligently to put the finishing touches on this build, installing and hooking up all the electronics in the console and T-Top. She should be hitting the water next week for thorough in-water testing, and then she’ll be good to go down to her new home in the Florida Keys!
Next up, the Whisper Gray build! We’ve got to give a huge shoutout to the production team as they are really showing out when it comes to efficiency in the build process. Nearly all small and medium parts are finished, the hull is ready to come out of the mold, and the liner will be infused within the next week! Motors are coming in soon and the last large fiberglass part to build is the cap. From there, it’ll be moving on to the rigging and assembly department!
We’re not going to spoil the surprise for hull color on this last build just yet, but it will be a color we’ve never done before! The hull hasn’t been built yet, but the crew has already built the small fiberglass parts like bulkheads, stringers, anchor locker, fish boxes, livewells and more. This will be the first build featuring a new option we’ll be offering for 2024 – the sleeper console! For those who want to have a comfortable (air-conditioned) place to cool off, take a nap, or sleep during an overnighter, this will be an awesome option! We’re still working on the console mold and internal liner but should have that finished shortly.
