The Foiling Press – September 2024 – September has been an eventful month! We delivered a Pacific Blue 35IFC to our customers down in Naples, FL, hosted a private demo event in Ft. Myers, and have been hard at work building several more 35IFC’s back at the factory! Hurricane Helene has certainly made things interesting, but we are fortunate to be back up and running this week – our thoughts are with those affected by the storm. Our crew is working diligently to wrap up the latest 35IFC that we will have available for demos in Ft Lauderdale during the boat show, so if you plan on attending, please reach out! As we mentioned, the Pacific Blue 35IFC, equipped with twin V8 300 HP Mercurys, Garmin Electronics, a JL Audio sound system, Seadek, a Rhodan trolling motor, and Sionyx Night vision, made her way down to Naples, FL, just in time for Labor Day Weekend!
For those who plan to join us in Ft Lauderdale at the end of October, you’ll see this Sky Blue 35IFC in the flesh! This boat has really started to come together this past month. Her hull was rigged and bonded into the liner, foils mounted, and jackplates installed. She’s now back in the rigging shop, where all deck components will be installed before her cap goes on. We’re hoping to have the leaning post, console, and hard top installed by the end of the week so that the build can be completed with plenty of time to water test and fine-tune before the Ft Lauderdale Boat Show!
Last, another 35IFC has hit the mold! The mold was prepped, gelled, and skin-coated, then stacked with composites in preparation for infusion (which happened Monday). The console, leaning post, hard top, hatches, and compartments are all ready to go. Now we’re just prepping the cap and liner molds for infusion, pretty soon she’ll be out of the mold and starting to come together!
